There was a dispute involving several subjects from Rafiki’s bar, 226 First Ave. S., coming from the parking lot of First Avenue South and West Titus Street. Multiple shots fired: 2:06 a.m., an Illegal discharge was heard by officers at the Kent Police Station, 232 Fourth Ave. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. The suspect became angered by the questions, quickly put his vehicle in reverse, and then drove at the victim striking him with his vehicle. The victim resident confronted the suspect and asked him why he was there and noting that his vehicle did not have a license plate. Struck by vehicle: 12:26 a.m., officers were dispatched to an injury collision within the Kent Meadow Apartments, 10609 SE 248th St. The victim did not come forward to report the incident to the police. One of the suspects opened fire, but the intended victim quickly put his vehicle in reverse, struck a dumpster and fled the scene. Reviewing video surveillance, officers saw that two armed suspects arrived in a vehicle and confronted the driver of a different vehicle. Shots fired: 2:19 p.m., officers were dispatched to multiple reports of an illegal discharge within the Phoenix Court Apartments, 23913 111th Pl. The officers were able to locate the suspect on the premises and took him into custody without further incident. Multiple victims reported the suspect randomly assaulted five tenants within the complex, threw rocks, and threatened to obtain a firearm to kill them. He was taken to the hospital to treat his injuries.Īssault at apartments: 4:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Vibe Apartments, 25220 109th Pl. The subject had numerous puncture wounds on his arms and back, abrasions, and lacerations. Officers immediately began CPR and treating his injuries until Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority arrived to take over. The male was unknown to any of the residents, he was lying in the backyard of their home, and was slumped over unconscious. Injured man: 5:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 27200 block of 135th Avenue SE regarding a subject who sustained lacerations to his arms. Guardian One helicopter from the King County Sheriff’s Office assisted, also with negative results. The victim was in obvious pain and was not forthcoming with information. The victim also had an obvious head wound, likely from blunt force trauma or sustained in a fall. A victim had sustained at least one significant stab wound causing a significant amount of blood loss. Restaurant stabbing: 3:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to a stabbing at Mediterranean Breeze restaurant, 406 Washington Ave. While there was minor damage to vehicles, no officers or civilians were hurt. The driver was arrested and taken to Valley Medical Center in Renton for a blood draw. The pursuit continued to Covington after finally getting the vehicle pinned and using pepper ball to get the driver to comply. Both maneuvers were successful, however, officers were unable to maintain a pin on the vehicle. During the pursuit officers performed two pursuit immobilization technique maneuvers to stop the vehicle.
